Summary: Long Long Ago in a Galaxy Far Away Amber wrote about Army Sgt Rory Rossa (Foxtrot) and Ex-hitman Blackbird (Merle Aldis), two people who are reincarnated soulmates and ALSO members of an elite zombie containment and elimination force. Rory likes Blackbird a lot, A LOT, and tries real hard to be his friend despite the fact he’s about as warm and inviting as an ice cube and 99% of the other members think he’s a murdering scumbag. Blackbird is won over enough to give her a nickname (Foxtrot) and also give in to her friendship attempts.
This is the beginning of their transition from “working out together and eating lunch sometimes” to “oh man we are boning and it is so great and also I love you”
